Ok, i put my money where my mouth is and bought these within a day of you posting this... They arrived yesterday in a very nice package and have a 3D quality to them being made with a soft clear gel above the words. Thus, I can attest they are a good/legit company!. I just put them on and I am happy with them. Not to large but just large enough to read if you really want to. The biggest problem is that they only come in a pack of two and I wanted to see what it would look like on the rear, so for now passenger side doesn't have one but I can move them while sticky is still fresh or buy another set since they were only around $10 with shipping. Concerning the back placement. I thought about putting it directly under the GT emblem but it would only stretch from the beginning of the G to the bottom part of the T. That might be fine but many cars put other emblems to the right side so went with that. Thoughts?

I think they look great where they are! Under the "GT" would look too unsymmetrical in my opinion. These badges are subtle and tasteful. Nice work!

Thanks. Same thing I thought. I think I will order another pair to make it even on the sides. Maybe I can add the 4th one inside somewhere lol...

I could care less what anyone else does and everyone has their reasoning or tastes. But lifting a truck definitely means you're compensating for something being small ... right? /s
You could care less means you actually care because there are levels below where you do care. ??

I don't know about some peoples' trucks, but my Blazer got a lift so that it could get over/through some of the things I used to routinely drive over and through (and because it was tail dragging). As for being small... I'm 15" at the withers! That's as big as the breed standard allows. ?‍♂?

It was a joke Steve. But let me clarify, I don't care one bit if someone lifts their truck or why. I can lift my Rivian 8" at the touch of a button...

I should’ve picked my old horse for a forum presence instead of my cat. Then, I could claim to be 15.6 hands high. I think the cat is not even 2 hands high. Of course, that’s not considering big hands or little hands. Besides, she won’t stand still when I’m trying to measure her, something about trips to the evil vet and how she doesn’t trust this measuring facade.

Anyway , back to your regularly scheduled debates: To badge or not? PE badging or not? Proper and official grammar or widespread use grammar?

I see you have removed the rear AWD decal, was it just glued on
with double sided tape ?

Cars in the USA don’t have an AWD decal on the rear.

But to remove them, people use fishing line. It’s just very strong tape holding it on.

I went the other way. I replaced my GT emblem with a Pony. ?

I think this one is for me too. Except I found Chrome Remover for models on Amazon and will murder out the pony badge. This is stage two because I already removed the emblems from both sides.

Yes, I haven't used this before so YMMV. Also many other people mentioned the some emblems have aluminum coating that is then chrome plated and easy off oven cleaner will remove that.

Like OP I added the performance edition badge, it's subtle so it's it's more of a personal Easter egg.

Looks nice! Mine are going on nearly 2 years now and have started to fade just a touch. You can't really tell though unless your close. Either way I may order replacements since they are so cheap. Also, one side of the rear one doesn't stick well anymore... also only noticeable closeup. I may have pulled it on and off one to many times when trying to align it so those kind of actions could catchup eventually. Anyway looks good!

Thanks and likewise! Similarly I do anticipate these fading/wearing out, but like you said they are cheap enough to replace. I have

Thanks and likewise! Good to know, I figured overtime these will weather or potentially become unadhered. However, like you said they are cheap enough to replace as needed. I have previously looked into making a custom emblem / badge online, however, due to copyright etc, most companies have refused to make any "GT or Performance Edition" variants. Trim levels/lines are considered trademarked (ie GT, R-Line, ZR1).

To me these badges are the equivalent to aposematism. Its really to ward off others than to invite or draw attention haha

I did want to pull the trigger on the official Ford Performance badges, however, would have to play around with location and position. I think these could be most appropriate on the upper fender if one has already removed the MachE4x badges from the bottom, but on the charging port side it may not work. I probably will succumb just to see in the flesh.

Thanks for sharing :)
