Hello! Does anyone know of a place that makes rotors for these machines yet? I’ve had my front rotors replaced once already because of contamination issues with the pads and rotors. My new set that I’ve had for a little over a month is already looking the same. I have had one pedal turned off this whole month. I’ll include pics but I can’t seem to find aftermarket rotors yet.

Are you shifting to neutral before braking occasionally to clean them off?

Not sure why you think they need to be replaced? Totally normal to get the buildup and then it will come off when you hard brake in neutral or even sometimes a hard brake anytime

I say they need to be replaced because they look like this after had braking and the are starting to shake again. I’ve never seen a rotors not he shiny. Even old ass beaters with rusted brakes look nicer than these.

You didn’t answer the question. Normal braking uses regen first, so it isn’t enough to keep the rotors clean. That’s why you need to shift to neutral first.

Are you properly bedding the brakes when you put new rotors or pads, or both on?

I would expect that the dealer did the replacement and bedding. At which I'd roll them right back to the dealer again. Most likely it's your constantly moist climate causing the pads and rotors to rust together. Mine were just done about 500 miles ago. I'm pretty sure I have pad material on my right front as having the tire balanced twice more didn't solve the vibration I'm getting.

As others have said, toss it in N and ride that brake for a bit, nice and long, but somewhat hard, come to a stop kind of braking. I tried re-bedding mine before it's trip to the dealer. It made it better for a day, then the next day they were shakier.

BTW these rust instantly. They have a ton of iron in them and in the pads. Which, well, rusts. Sometimes even together. Mine got a misting of moisture in the garage and looked like a 50 yr old beer can in the hills that was used for target practice.
