CarPlay connection is definitely less reliable with 3.5.3.3 than it was before. Sometimes it just won't connect. The next time I get into the car, it might work again.

I don’t recall Hello Ford setting the degrees, just warmer or colder.

Same here. Super frustrating. I reboot SYNC almost daily, sometimes multiple times a day. Sometimes that allows it to connect, but not always...

Since it seems half the people on this thread are actually interested in using Alexa and some are just here to proclaim their superiority, this may be a good place to ask…

Is anyone who uses Alexa in the car having problems with reliability. Just this week Alexa has been very hit or miss. But mostly miss. Most times she tells me that I need connected services to use this feature. Then every now and then she performs the task or routine that I ask her to. I’ve checked connected services. They are good on both cars until oct 2025. Anyone else having the same problem? Or have a solution for me?

Alexa has a better sense of humor to entertain 8 year olds compared with Siri.

Alexa is very good at telling me when my Amazon packages arrive in my garage so I don't run them over with my car.

After 26mths & 33k miles only just had chance to set up Ford thingy & Alexa.

Can’t actually find a use for Alexa, think I may ditch the bitch!

Ford command will only change my radio station which is handy.

Can’t get it to do the one thing that absolutely drives me insane which is to turn off the heater altogether without having to jab away at numerous operations on screen that don’t work, work in a delayed way and my big fat fingers miss while I’m swerving across 6 lanes ?

And when I ask Ford to change temp it only does it on one side of car, chocolate teapots spring to mind!!

I only just found that pressing & holding the voice command button on steering wheel allows me to do virtually everything I ever use the screen for because I use CarPlay for almost everything, life in the road’s just about to get oh so much easier?

Im looking for a list car specific commands also. when i say tune to XM channel XXX it plays thru the Alexa app not my car xm radio. I wonder it i say switch to it might play thru the car instead. I have xm radio attatched to my Alexa in he house though.

On Ford, I found “play Times Radio” changed channel on the car radio.

Yes I have been getting this for over a month, very hit or miss.
