Alexa does not connect - what am I doing wrong?

why is Alexa not connecting? what am I doing wrong? I forgot to mention, it appears on fordpass that Alexa is active....

It is half-baked at best in its current state. The first time when I tried to set it up, I had the same problem as you did; the next morning it worked.

When I asked it to set temperature in the car it did so as requested; when I asked it to turn on the butt warmer or steering wheel heater, it responded with either "I don't know how to do that" or "your vehicle does not support it". When I asked to be routed to a certain location, it wanted the full address including town and state; when I stated the full address it managed to get the street name wrong and it wasn't even close.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just tried again, after 6 hours, and it worked. I knew someone on this site would have a solution.
