Maybe, because the windshield blocks radar signals. Can’t use radar through the windshield.

I was just informed that our Mach E GT now has a VIN Number and a scheduled build date of June 12, 2023. We ordered it October 11, 2022 so I will believe it when I actually see it.

A GTPE with a what appears to be a glass roof too. Very interesting!

If it’s not a 2021, it more than likely has a glass roof since Ford did away with the glass roof as an option on all GTs after the 2021 model year. I can’t tell from the photo if the car has the 360 cameras or a glass roof, but the presence of 360 cameras means the car has a glass roof for GTs because the two options are intertwined by Ford. If they weren’t, I would have 360 cameras and a metal roof. ??

Congratulations. Looking forward to some pics. We were in Milwaukee last week and saw a police department Mach-E. Couldn’t get my phone out quickly enough to take a picture.

After almost 10 months of waiting the Mach E we ordered have finally been delivered. I have driven the vehicle twice so far and I can honestly say I had no idea how nice of a vehicle it really is.

I took it to our 'Upfitter' today to get quotes for lights, sirens and other equipment. I will post those pictures after that process is complete in a few weeks.

I'll be sure to keep my 2022 Shadow Black GT under the limit when I'm visiting from Richmond VA and driving the Rte 175 / Rouse Pkwy corridor.

I started reading this thread hoping for end photos of it completely outfitted only to find that you just now got the car TODAY. Congrats on finally getting it in. The black GT is beautiful. I've got a red CR1 and the black GT is the only other MME I could see swapping out for.

I wish more PDs would try out EVs. We don't see ANY here in the south. I would expect they would be a MUCH better PD car since they don't have to sit and idle to stay comfortable and run all of your 12v equipment for hours.

I'm looking forward to seeing yours fully outfitted!

Good luck! After driving the car today I know how difficult it will be for me to drive on Rt.175

I am fully embracing the transition from a ICE vehicle to a fully electric vehicle. I will be a sort of test case for our county. I will admit it's not a good fit for all Law Enforcement but it fits perfectly for my current situation.
