Mach-E will begin testing early 2022 for Department of Homeland Security's law enforcement fleet

That would limit some high speed pursuits.

Who's going to tell the police departments about the availability of replacement parts for the Mach-e as opposed to the hundreds of thousands of dodge chargers on the road?

Also, I can't wait to see the first police chase in a Mach-e where the suspect drives faster than 115mph ?

Law enforcement in many areas, mine included, won’t engage in high speed pursuits due to safety. No car can outrun a radio.

DHS isn't doing street patrols or high speed chases for traffic enforcement. More than likely, these will be "fleet" vehicles by use of LE staff and agents performing nothing more exciting than checking out venues prior to some VIP's arrival. Besides, there is no such thing as a high-speed chase in DC traffic.
