You read where? Cite them sources.

That said, if there was it would only likely affect cancelled orders for 2022 since anyone who already ordered would have price protection.

Side note: that’s at least 3 too many question marks for a 3% increase during 7.5% inflation.

The article is just comparing the price of 2021 MME to the price of a 2022 MME.

I think the $2500 refers to the $500 applied Oct 1, 2021 when 2022 ordering opened. Those with conversions from 2021 to 2022 were given a $750 thanks for hanging on incentive.
The other $2000 was what was announced Dec 8, 2021 for all new orderd of 2022 models...
