They did change the suspension in the Premiums after 2022.5. It's less bouncy now. Still not a good as MagneRide but I'd recommend you test drive a new Premium to see if it's improved enough.
Did not know that. Will do, thanks.

2021 Premium AWD EX picked up in Feb. 2022. 23K miles. And no major problems with the vehicle and I still love it. The most enjoyable car to drive that I've had since my 1977 Toyota Celica GT manual. <SNIP>
Ouch. Those late Gen1 Celicas were… Well… Poop. We always got rid of the 20R motors and threw in 18R-Gs or 152-Es, longer front control arms, 12:1 steering boxes, decambered the rear axles, bigger bars, Konis or Bilsteins, modified steering arms, and dropped them at least an inch. I still preferred my early ‘71. ??

I bought a MME GTPE in 2022. Around $71k. Loved almost everything about the car. BUT, I have 4 speed bumps to get to my condo, so 8 reminders of how annoying the rear bounce is every time I go somewhere. But the reason I sold it was I didn't like how Ford (didn't) respond to the HVBJB issue.

That being said, the fact that I still come back to this forum 2 years later speaks to how much I liked the car....so yes, I might dip my toe and buy another, IF I felt the HVBJB thing was resolved....

Too early to tell because, with good fortune, I will keep this car (to me it’s not an SUV) for maybe 10 years. I don’t have high car turnover like in my youth.

I can say it will be a BEV even if this car gets wrecked before that time. I have no interest in ICE vehicles unless I become possessed in retirement and must have one to tinker with, like an antique Land Cruiser.

I would consider another Ford BEV. Subject to change since I’m still a newbie.

I could, certainly, but since I just traded in my '21 Select for a '23 Premium back in February it's going to be a long while before I even consider my next vehicle.

If Ford can include a heat pump and maybe a 2 dr bodystyle in the next gen, I'm in!

I had a March 2021 Select build, traded it in for a 2023.5 GT as I needed the extended range battery. It might have been a Chevy Blazer if GM didn't have so many problems with it, but the price drop, 3000 off and zero percent loan convinced me.

You sound like us, after having our MachE 2 years we sold our Highlander and bought an old Bolt instead, I wfh so we have less use for 2 cars. We shuttle our boys and friends around a lot, but our city is very small so we just take 2 EVs when we need space.

My 2 boys are also very excited to get the MachE as their first car in 7 years but I am a bit concerned that it's too much car for a 17 year old boy.
In Maine, teens can get their learner's permit at 15, so my 12 year old is looking forward to driving either my car or my husband's C40 in less than 3 years.

Maybe we will have to get a 10+ year old Leaf, by then. ?

Honestly, I will not. Probably will not buy another Ford car either.

In my 1 year, 4 months of ownership I have had:

- The APIM replaced twice: once due to a bad APIM, and once because the dealer put the wrong replacement APIM which rendered connected services non-functional.
- Front radar replaced because it died rendering all cruise control inoperative.
- 1 TPMS sensor died
- HF BC disengage often due to IPMA Ethernet communication errors. Despite dealer pulling in latest IPMA, PSCM, ABS, etc. updates a month ago (BC 1.4 equivalent), it still happens. I suspect a bad IPMA/wiring harness...who knows
- Frunk and Trunk open by themselves (thankfully not yet in my garage)
- Ford releasing SW with multiple bugs over and over: drive modes changing (still happens even with latest updates), 1mph bug on IPC, unreliable backup passcode performance leaving me stranded.

This is a new car yet I've had less issues with my 15 year old Mazda than with this car.

I was considering going through the lemon process, but I love how the car drives and I don't see anything else out there that ticks the same checkboxes as the MME. I do not want a Tesla. The above issues have really soured my ownership experience though. I'm less worried about the HV battery lasting. I'm more worried about all the other modules and sensors dying right as the warranty ends.

Did some of those mods on my Celica including the engine swap. The interesting thing about the design was the rear end of the car where Toyota purposely copied the taillights of the early Mustangs.

I've got a '21 Job 1 First Edition. I'm done with Ford. The broken promises about BlueCruise updates, the months the car had been in shop over the past 3 ½ years, the bad software (and now terrible FordPass 5.0) demonstrates how badly Ford has stumbled out of the gate.

I'm traveling through China for the post couple of weeks and in most cities the majority of vehicles are BEV, with a profusion of brands and models any American EV enthusiast can only dream about. As an owner of a Mach-e, a '23 Bolt EUV, and a '22 Kia Niro EV, the Ford stands out as a hot mess. So any future vehicle will be an EV, but no chance it'll be a Ford (unless by some miracle BC 1.4 appears OTA by the time my flight lands in the US).

I'll tell you, given all the nice EVs I've driven around in the past couple of weeks - particularly BYDs - US manufacturers are in a whole load of trouble. Huge import tariffs on Chinese EVs are only delaying the inevitable...
Saw one mache at my hotel in Shanghai this morning. The only one I saw. Tesla exists here, but am floored with how many EVs are here.

I'm thrilled that Ford has addressed the GTPE's shortcomings, and is releasing the fastest Mustang ever, fully electric. I'm beyond thrilled that I can now charge at Tesla SCs, (with my free adapter) and do that almost exclusively now (when not charging at home). Which made me realize the next shortcoming:

I'm not buying anything else from Ford until I can back into a Tesla SC, and charge via NACS without an adapter. If the 2025s have a NACS port in the stern, it will be my next car.

Purely a guess, but I think if Ford moves the charge port, it will be to the right front, instead of the left rear, like Tesla's. Less wiring design changes to the car, as opposed to moving the charge port all the way to the rear. A right-front location would work just as well at the Tesla chargers - we wouldn't need to block two spots. Nissan Ariya uses the right-front. I have seen a couple of them at Tesla chargers using a third-party adapter like A2Z, and they only take-up one spot.
