If they’re directional they’ll have arrows, otherwise if asymmetric will have “Outside” on one tyre wall or plain treaded will have no such marks.

I thought I read these Primacy tires were EV tires, until I saw them on the explorer they gave me for a loner while they worked on my F150

Michelin as well as other tire manufacturers many times offer the same model tire in both an EV and non-EV spec. The tires on the Explorer are regular Primacy's while the ones on the Mach-E are an EV spec tire. Same with with the Pirelli P Zero that comes on the Mach-E GTPE. Pirelli makes all kinds of P Zero tires and all they say is P Zero on the side but they can have different tread patterns depending on if the manufactures wants that tire for performance or more comfort or an EV.

Primacy tire for the Mach-E, EV tuned:

Primacy tire for the Explorer, not EV tuned:

wow, strange.
the EV tuned tire is load range 103 = 1929 lbs and H 130mph
the non EV tire is load range 110 = 2337 lbs and V 149mph

That has nothing to do with it being an EV tire. The Mach-E tires are smaller. 19" tire with a 225 width while the Explorer tire is 20" with 255 width. The load capacity of a tire usually depends on the size of the tire.

The speed rating is something completely different and has nothing to do with it being an EV or the size of the tire or load rating. It is whatever the manufacturer has designed it to be. Like the EV or non EV tire, you can have the exact same model tire with several different speed ratings depending on what car the tire was designed to run on.
