Mine completed it for me. It's not the body shop that does it it's a third party the dealership works with on all glass jobs. Conyers Courtesy Ford. They did it in ~8 days from drop off to ready (i had two glass decals for roof and windshield + the brake recall)

I may have to look into them. I called Autonation Ford and they never called me back.

Has anyone in Georgia installed a charger (EVSE) by yourself and obtained a permit and inspection without hiring a licensed electrician?

I live in Cobb County and am planning to install a ChargePoint Home Flex in my garage by myself. When I try to obtain a permit online at the Cobb County website, it asks me to enter the info for a “Licensed Professional” and there’s no “Homeowner” or “DIY” option to proceed.

Does anyone know of a way to get a permit and inspection by yourself?

I don't live in Cobb, but in Gwinnett. In Gwinnett homeowners just have to speak to the permitting folks to get approval to do work as the homeowner. They will then issue the necessary permits.

I have had a ChargePoint Home Flex for the past two years. I like being able to look at the charging history to know how much charging my Bolt actually costs. Otherwise the smart chargers are totally unnecessary. But for the extra $100-$200 it has been worth it to me.

Service guy wants to punt me to the body shop, and says the body shop will do the software updates at the same time they do the glass work (what?)

Seems like I should just be able to take the car and have them figure out who does the work, not me

If anyone has experience with dealers in Alpharetta/Sandy Springs/Cumming/Chamblee doing the recall work I'd appreciate the feedback. I don't really want to drive all the way to Conyers

I took mine to Gwinnett Place Ford - same deal though. The glass is done by the Body Shop which is down the road. They got me a rental car from Enterprise per the recall allowance. And they did the software updates as well. I've had two good experiences with Gwinnett Place in terms of MME service.

I don't take it anywhere special, I actually have been kind of derelict in keeping it clean. I didn't get ceramic coating or anything done. I'm not entirely sure where Milton Park is, I live on Haynes Bridge and visit the Crabapple area of Milton often. Mine is a red RWD ER, so maybe that is a clue if it's me or not

Did you go to the body shop or the service department? I don't care who does the work, it's just frustrating that there's not just a single point of contact at the dealership where I can go, put in the service request, and they handle it. I shouldn't have to navigate their corporate structure to get the work done, and I know that there are parts that will be done by the body shop (glass) and service (software updates)

I am scheduled to drop off at Gwinnett Place on 4/11. They estimate 4 days since it will be re-sealing the glass roof and the windshield. Fingers crossed.

Hi everyone, purchased my Premium MME Std RWD from Angela Kruse with No ADM and sales process was good. Service Dept hasn't been very responsive and they don't offer a loaner. Any one have a suggestion/experience of other dealers NW of Atlanta? Preferably someone who has loaners.

When was that? I was considering buying their Select 21 AWD (they have a few), but they wanted $5k ADM. No premiums available. They had one GTPE they wanted $14k on it.
