audio mute button?

GM uses the "phone hang up" button to mute the audio. I'm not sure if the MME has one of those buttons, since I don't have my car yet. If it does, give it a try.

The button you use to toggle the volume up and down on the steering wheel can also be pushed in to mute.

this does not mute on my Mach-e.

Don‘t you just hit the power button in the middle of the volume knob to turn off the audio?

Yep. I use the power 'button' for this all the time.

It's one of my favorite things about the volume wheel that's glued to the center display... Eyes on road and I just reach over to the volume knob and tap it's center.
