There is no auto parking feature. It was removed after the first year.

The feature was only installed through some point early in the 2022 model year. It works. More or less. It's simultaneously too slow and too fast. I found it easier to just park the car myself.

I have used it probably 5 times in 3.5 years, its fun to use, always worked, but my first job was as a Valet so I consider myself a pretty good parker.

The very few who have it enabled typically agree it's too slow to be useful. Slow enough that people will start honking at you and you'll take over to do it yourself. You're not missing out if you don't have it.

Do you have a 2021 Select with Comfort and Tech? You press the button, choose the type of spot you want, let it load, wait for it to show spaces as you drive, then select a space, and hold the P until the car fully parks. I use it so little I basically forget how it works each time, but for me, it has always worked.

The button i just found online. It is the old “park assist” and now is a “park find”

So few used it, and it was so terrible that Ford discontinued it across all their vehicles in Feb 2024.

Slow to engage and slow in execution... But it works not so bad. Can make a cool effect with some people. The main issue is the final position of the car, too far from the sidewalk.

I e used it twice in my car. My wife has never used it in her car. So two instances across 9 years of combined ownership. At that rate of return, it wasn’t worth cost of the coffee that the engineer drank while thinking up the idea. let alone the research and the parts that went into it.

yes i have the feature

yes i click the button, i choose the type, it's got the box i drive past the spot, wait for it to recognize the empty spot in the camera, it never recognizes. i've tried different layouts and scenarios

Fun fact - a spot is not empty unless there is a car parked next to it. You can scan empty spots all you want, but it wants to park NEXT TO a vehicle. Yes, please park me slow and dent my doors.
