So my new Rally turn off the 360 when speed is above 10MPH, why can't it turn on 360 when speed is below 5-9MPH? Both my Lexus and Toyota do that and it's super convenient when navigating the parking lot curves and when fitting your car nicely in a parking space, without having to manually turn on the 360 and taking your hands off the steering?

I did notice this not unique to the Rally but on all Mach-E

Can Ford push out an update and allow this as an user-selectable option (to turn on 360 when speed below 9MPH)?

It’s not unique to the Mach-E or even Ford for that matter. The only brand that I know of with that option is Toyota.

Yes, Ford can do that.

Won't. But certainly can.
Except ...

The cameras are available at up to highway speeds on the F-150 Lightning, too.

That's not what we're talking about. Toyotas have the ability to automatically turn on the 360 camera every time the car's speed falls BELOW 9 mph, which is great for parking. This requires a button press in most other cars (including Fords).

Is the Toyota camera always on in stop and go traffic? I want to change the music while I’m sitting there.

Yes, but you can just tap the screen to return to the Home Screen. Or there’s a slider on the camera screen for disabling the functionality temporarily (or permanently).

In our big-town efficiency unit condo, unless I park with the tires covering the left white line, my neighbor almost can't get in or out of her car. I really would appreciate an auto turn-on for those 360s.

I’m sure this functionality is at the very top of Ford’s list to implement as Soon™️™ as possible. I suggest holding your breath while waiting for it ?

I’ve had a separate issue although I’m not sure it’s an actual issue as I’ve only seen it twice. Where I’m coming to a stop, am under 10mph and the 360 cam comes on the screen for like 2 seconds then turns off.

Auto-on camera would be nice, but should be an option you can disable if you'd like (e.g in city traffic). The bigger issue is the <5 MPH threshold for camera activation is too slow and has been a longstanding gripe of mine. I want to be able to turn the camera on at 9 MPH while parking, which is perfectly legal but Ford won't change it because their lawyers are too over-cautious about lawsuits.

I think Mercedes has this option too. Some of their recent vehicles have a rear camera that requires their badge to tilt out of the way for it to activate, and when following some of these newer models, I see the badge moving for the rear camera every time they slow down.

Hondas have an option to turn the side camera on when your turn signal is on. It gives a view that helps you navigate tight turns without hitting a curb. The camera is already there. Why not create more use cases ???
