hello, yesterday while I was driving, I started to hear some noises and my car stopped.

The first message I saw was AWD not available and then multiple errors. I even got to see the turtle!

The car did not accelerate and after turning the car off and on it does not go to READY.

I disconnected the 12v battery, but it still didn't work.

Finally had to be towed. right now the car is about 400km from home waiting to be towed to my workshop.

Attached video of the event, you can hear the noises the car makes before failing.

Yikes that was painful to watch. That sounds like something other than a junction box, which don't make clunking noises like that as you car seems to do when it failed. Sounds like something to do with a motor if I were to speculate....

I remember reading something on the forum a long time ago about the parking pawl getting wedged. Sounds like it could be that?

Hello, confirmed the failure of HVBJB, at the moment there is no stock in Europe, I have to wait...

At least I have a replacement car just like mine.

YIKES!!!!!

painful to watch.... embarrassing I am sure with passengers.... and dangerous with complete loss of power on a freaking on ramp!

In the US, the Recall was half-assed with rollout of a software 'cushion' to help reduce the chances of exactly this. I wonder if your vehicle had the Software update?

Regardless, I hope you all were safe, and Ford air-mails a replacement part to your Dealership. I don't know if the same things exist, but in the States the Dealerships can 'rush order' parts in cases like this with a special order system called COPIS. The normal order process will show the replacement part backordered forever.

Yes, the update was applied by myself with FDRS when the car had 8500km on the odometer. Now 19400km

Fortunately no accident occurred, but it was a difficult moment, since it was when joining the highway where there was a lot of traffic.

The police came to stop traffic so that the tow truck could load the car.

Ironically, on November 5, I was returning from a Mustang Mach-E event (organized by Ford Spain and by some owners). At that event a Mach-E "specialist" came from Germany, I asked him why Ford doesn't change the damaged part if they knew about the problem. He only replied that with the software update everything was fine.... I also asked him about the Sentry Mode and he said that Ford did not have it in its plans due to privacy issues (at least in Europe).

Today they called me that my car was fixed, but I still can't pick it up, they also have to change the steering column (it made strange noises when moving the steering wheel), but it has nothing to do with the contactors.

So for another two weeks I won't have my car, but at least they gave me another Mustang Mach-E exactly like mine but in red.
