I did a short drive to pick up some takeout last night, and my instrument panel decided it was just going to sit on this screen.

If a cop asked me "do you know how fast you were going?", I could've honestly answered "no idea". Thankfully it self-resolved with a power cycle.

Yes. Chicago has speed cameras. So either don't speed or steer clear of Chicago ?

I've had this happen twice as well, both times in the last three days.

I haven't received a software update in a while that I know of (maybe it was silent, or maybe Ford's got a minor Year 2025 Problem?).

As mentioned, power cycle fixed it.

This same thing just happened to me! Last Friday I was taking my husband in for surgery. Granted, we were driving MUCH earlier than either my car or me is usually even awake. But I was awake enough to notice that I had no speedometer! I was thankful that I did not have to drive on the highway. And I've had no updates to my 2021 Mach-E since June 2024.
