The maps expire? Is that the method that Ford is using to regulate the subscription service? No map, no cruzzy? ?

Use of BlueCruise hands free requires agreement to Connected Services and Ford's ability to audit certain conditions in place just prior to a crash incident. Since connected services are required, Ford can deauthorize a subscription service in the same way it is authorized.

My guess is maps are periodically refreshed for both licensing compliance (Ford probably gets them third party) and for managing risks and liabilities.

I ended up going to America's Tire after going to Wheel Works and Just Tires. Had to supervise them since they tried to use the lift, twice, but once they realized that floor jacks were in order, with the rubber attachments, we were good to go. I just didn't want to deal with the dealer since I was already delayed for the fix. Even better was the only 30 min wait and done for free. I even tried to pay them for the extra effort, will be sure to get tires from them when the time comes.

Ford will rotate them for you. It doesn't cost much for that. As long as it doesn't require remounting them the time is minimal.

I think you can try to work with your dealership on making hands-free available, maybe you will be luckier than me, and if it happens, please let me know what they did so hopefully the same can be done to my car.

Lol! Very nice. Then that makes sense. EA VIP is my nickname for the subset of the job 1 people in Early Access BlueCruise who are getting BlueCruise first. For example, I’m in EA BlueCruise, but I am not part of the VIP group that received the BlueCruise PowerUps beyond 2.4.1. Apparently, there were some kind of geographical restrictions to be eligible and I live in a tiny, one-horse metropolitan area that’s not in any maps Ford owns (the Philadelphia metropolitan area) ?

It is already a year late. I'm not going to wait for it. Ford could have let us get this installed at a dealer months ago. I would have paid the shop time if asked.

I won't be surprised if it get pushed back another 6, 9, 12 or 36 more months. I just don't care anymore about their schedule. Ford wants Job 1 customers to buy Job 2 cars. That pushes me out of the market. Ford's loss.

I know grand river highway when I see it! Haha. Must be nice, I am one of the many that's stuck on the 1.7.1 for a Job 1 car.. Don't know where to move forward on that but just going to wait it out!

Wow - You got me on the M5 (Grand River). Shocked you could see that from the picture. Hang in there on the OTA - It will go fast.
