"21 J1 Premium ex here. Got the email yesterday, as well. As others have noted, this is an offer for '21 owners who elected to not purchase BC when buying the Mach E. Honestly, I use BC rarely (95% of driving is local). When I have used it (long interstate travel) it cuts out at a rate of 10-15 times an hour. Ford's adaptive cruise is fine with me and keeping a few fingers on the wheel is free. I'll pass on the payment offer. I'm sure, for those who regularly commute, it may have more value.

You guys should really look into OpenPilot before dropping the money on BlueCruise. It's 100x superior product. Never disengages and works on all roads, not just interstates. Even works on roads with no lane markings. at $1500ish it's a price step up for 2021J1 owners, but for anyone else it's less than 2 years of subscription.

I just got the same email but with 2021 Job1 stuck on 6.1 since October. I don’t have any faith I’ll get 1.3 ever.

Job 1 here, was stuck on 6.1. Got 6.1.2 a few days ago, then 6.2, 6.3, now 6.4 yesterday. EA here but it’s coming!

There was no electing to get BC or not. It wasn’t available when 2021 Job 1 cars were sold, so nobody got it.

I thought it was kind of hilarious at 75.00 a month. Definitely worth the 600 for 3 years. I went ahead and signed up. It doesn’t take effect until my current subscription ends (12/31/23)

I will make ford a deal, fix the problem where. Every 10 minutes I lose my front camera and I will sign up for the 3 year offer! Job 1 life.

At $800/yr I could pay someone $20/hr to drive me on the highway. 40hrs is likely more than the total highway driving I do in a year. I call this SnoozeCruise and will be sleeping in the passenger seat. Sorry BlueCruise, you're just not worth the money over adaptive cruise.
