Blue Cruise Reset Procedure?

2022 BC just stopped working out of the blue (no pun intended). Worked on drive home, parked in garage as always, next day stopped working. Checked all the sensors I can see in front and windshield camera, no damage or obstructions. Checked Ford account, subscription still active. Cycled Adaptive Cruise on/off. Has not returned for a few different drives now. I get the hands on blue bubble to work, but hands free will not engage (on roads it engages on everyday).

Anybody have a reset procedure or any other things to look for/check?

If not, is this something usually covered under Ford's extended warranty? Trying not to bring it in as I need the car available the next few weeks.

If you get HOBC but not HFBC it could be a temporary GPS glitch (the car thinks you’re not within the mapped blue zone). Turn the car completely off for 15+ minutes so the modules go to sleep and try again.

You could also try posting your VIN in the FDRS thread to see if there are any DTCs.

Definitely a good idea to have an OBD reader. I’ve had mine not engage for a few drives and end up with a random DTC but no errors come up. Clear it and it’s back to working fine. Doesn’t happen often at all, but nice to be able to handle on your own and see if it comes back before wasting time at the dealer. Could also be dirt on some of the sensors or cameras.

Update..after two days sitting in the airport parking lot, it decided to start working again without any intervention on my part. Strange.

Most likely set a dtc that is no longer present.

Gremlins. Always wait 24 hours before reporting a problem. They often just need a good night's sleep.
