Spray or brush? Close up looks fantastic. Really a nice job you did.

Thank you! Spray, duplicolor engine enamel followed by 1k clear. Critical step imho was wet sanding with 400 grit sandpaper first. Here are the steps I followed:

- Remove wheel, put on jack stands
- Spend your time masking everything, I used garbage bags, tape and newspaper, make sure you cover the car well to prevent overspray
- Wash with dish soap, NOT car soap
- Sand down with 400 grit to a super smooth finish, this is key imho
- 4-5 light coats, don't try to get complete coverage in first couple coats, will result in drips, don't be lazy or tempted, 7-10 minutes between coats
- after 30 minutes of drying time, 3 light coats of clear, I used 1k clear, this might drip more, so be careful
- Remove masking when a bit dry, I scratched the paint a tad because I did this too early

Since I cannot resist the urge to paint the calipers, but was leaning against red since it's not a GT or FE, I will probably go with black and get some white or red brembo stickers for the front calipers. Maybe it isn't worth the effort since they will be so stealth but like I said, I can't not do it

Did you end up going with the yellow? My rapid red will be here in a month. Already ordered G2 caliper paint in a custom, same color as the car. Was torn about going yellow

Here in Europe all GT and AWD SR/ER have standard red calipers, RWD have silver.

Why would you do this to me?. I have the select wheels in gray and was debating to powder coat black or not. I decided no... Till this.
