Just noticed my rear brake disk this morning. After 14000km.

This is not only rust, they are grooved!

Did you get anywhere with your dealer? Did it end up warranties? My 2022 MME is doing the same thing at 22000kms.

Yes, they accepted to « smooth » the discs under warranty (we say « tourner les disques » in french).
I also heard that some people got their discs changed under warranty.

The friction brakes get a lot less use in an EV with regenerative braking, so rust can build up. You can brake hard every once in a while to force the friction brakes to be engaged and help strip the rust off.
Well, just had the wheels off to move the tyres around as tread on 2nd set of rears is down to 2.55mm (c83% worn) whilst original fronts are still at 4.13mm (c47% worn) at 47,166 miles which I think is pretty good going. I run the tyres at 36psi front and 49psi rear mostly fully loaded. I use OPD all the time, barely touch the brakes, occasionally accelerate hard but as a Class1 HGV, full bus and advanced driving licence holder I like to think I drive fairly sympathetically to the car. Measured the brake discs & pad friction linings all around which are barely worn at all but the left rear disc (photographed) is probably the reason for the grinding sound, and the shadow of the pads, moreso on that disc but also to lesser extent on other discs, may explain the slight judder I feel when I do brake. The cause, I think, is that when the car and in particular the wheels are washed and car isn’t used for a while afterwards pads stick to discs. I cleaned up the corroding left rear disc and tomorrow’s world tour will indicate if this made any difference if only alleviating the grating noise. On the whole, the car just don’t seem to wear very much so I may just run it into the ground or until the range is no longer good enough!

Interestingly, JLR program their lest used EV brakes to pulse or apply to rub away the rust, and that some Manufacturers are returning to drum brakes for this reason!
