23 mach e CA R1. Am hearing a brake noise, not squeaking but kind of a creaking sound. Happens when the vehicle is going slight downhill towards a stop sign or light. If I stop on the downhill, noise occurs. If I let up on the brake and hit it again, maybe a foot later, the noise again happens. It's almost as if the car is too heavy for the brakes if that makes any sense. Any thoughts?

Mine creaked first one side then both.

It did it if I pressed throttle hard then suddenly released it, jerking the car whilst in motion.

And if transmission is in Park with park brake released, rocking car back & forth by rolling a wheel hard one way then t’other made it creak at both ends of back & forth motion.

if it’s that you’re experiencing my dealer cured it by replacing wheel bearings.

However, one other poster who seemed to experience same thing was told it was his non standards wheels which I find hard to believe and when they swapped them for standard wheels the creaking went which left me wondering if it was the very act of removing wheels that disturbed something curing the creak instead of swapping wheels or changing wheel bearings.

However, I can only say what I found which is changing wheel bearings cured mine.

Probably worth letting your dealer investigate but I found I had to lead them to the noise as it’s not easily replicated unless you know what you’re doing, if yours are same symptoms as mine.

Thanks, sounds very similar to my situation. Will try the rock back and forth method to see what happens.
