Does anyone on this forum have "crunchy" front brakes? Seems like when I release the brakes from a complete stop you can hear the brake pads release from the rotors? Does not always happen but certain more than not. Front suspension maybe? Had my state inspection and they saw no issues. Not a surprise. This happens wet or dry. Now if it was raining hard, the next day the brakes are "glued" to the rotors. "Thump" the first time as I move forward. Before I bring back to the dealer was hoping to get everyone's thoughts.

There is a TSB to replace the pads and resurface the rotors, make sure they do BOTH. You should occasionally switch into neutral and brake, do this a few times to get off any rust or pad. But don't do this if you have pad stuck or else it might remove the pad and they won't do the TSB. After you get new pads, make sure you do the above.

Yes the pads do stick some, I think that is just a consequence of the pad compound used. If I'm at a stop and press the pedal too hard, I will feel a slight thump when they release.

If you feel a pulsating brake pedal or the brake application is especially noisy, then you may have pad material on the rotors, and the rotors will need to be turned or replaced along with the pads. There was a TSB for sticking pads on the 2021s.
