Build week 5/1/23

Just got my official build date. CR1 ordered on 11/01/2022 scheduled for build 5/1/23
Hoping to get it before the baby arrives in September so fingers crossed.

Wow! 19 1/2 weeks to get a notification of a build week! I waited 11 weeks. Another person I saw only waited 5 weeks (ordered in January '23). There is definitely no discernable rhyme or reason to when anyone receives their build week!

I know crazy right? I don't know if it has to do with a batch of CR1 or what. As long as I can get it by mid summer

I ordered a Select on 01/03/2023. I then canceled it when I found a car to my liking on a dealers lot, but I've still been following the order process.

The car has been built and its expected delivery date is for 5/25 - 5/31/. Seems like production and delivery are moving far better now.

I canceled the order as soon as I was able to complete the deal on purchasing the car off the dealers lot. And i got my $500 deposit back within weeks of canceling the order.

You canceled it long before it was built, then. I wonder why they build the car anyway and send it to your dealer when they know you don't want it? Oh, well. It's not my company!

dealers have a limited ability to order their own Mach-E stock so this will just be theirs for show and sale on the lot, test drives, etc.

My local Ford dealership loves when people order these cars in high demand, because the orders are outside of their usual allocation. It means they get an extra car to sell if the original person ordering decides not to buy.

My canceled order has been built/shipped/delivered (Almost 5 months). The shipped to delivery time seems to be pretty good for the Twin Cities area right now (2 ½ weeks).

I can concur (see signature area below). Straight shot by car-carrier truck for KC. It took mine two days after arriving in KC to be delivered to my dealer.
