Yes, pre-covid, stickers arrived fairly quickly, especially when dealers took care of it . . . they would order from DMV when car arrived, sold or not.
In current conditions, it's about 3 months.

That is simultaneously hilarious and pathetic.

My assumption for the slowdown is that the program is sunsetting and thus resources are reduced. The program as a whole is over by Sept 30th, 2025.

You can't even go into a DMV office to deal with the stickers. You must mail in the information and wait for processing.

Check out the application. The only real problem you might have is the income limitation. I had to wait till I got my plates, then I sent it in and waited 3+ months.
