What is the latest Sync version that you have, or have received as an update? I'm trying to establish whether GT & GTPE are on a separate track for updates and version numbers. Seems to be the case so far. GT's only please.. ThX.

mine is still at 176 factory shipped, but I did get the Bluecruise map update extension.

176 as well. No updates, ever. I push the little update button and it always tells me I'm up to date.

Same. We are all on our own track my guess....they're probably trying to get Job 1's caught up first.

I think that many of the updates on 230-240-25x whatever, seem to have a lot of the same stuff we already have in 176. But I would think there has to be someting updated from our 176 line by now. Battery charge boost over 80%, etc.. I do like what we have for the most part, incl BC, but something just seems odd and off about the way they are doing this. And there are still some various bugs in Sync 176 here and there for sure.

They've already released charging curve improvements that Job 1 cars got at the dealer. These are available via FDRS if you want to do them yourself or try and find a dealer nice enough to do them for free, which is rare.

They're most certainly trying to get Job 1 cars caught up, and then I'm hoping once all 2021 cars are on the same version, they'll catch us up to 2022's.

The version in Sync won't correspond to other things in the car like charging speeds. Its all different modules. The Sync version is only for the Sync software.

GT's (Including GTPE) haven't had a sync update yet. We will be getting one that will match what 2022 cars come with, and probably similar to what the lightning has. Probably won't see that until May or so.

There is also some updates that give the better charge curve over 80% ( I have manually updated it on mine) But ford hasn't pushed it through an OTA yet, or is allowing dealers to apply it. So I imagine it will be coming soon OTA. Possibly around the same time early cars start getting their updates to enable BlueCruise.

There's absolutely no reason to get caught up in numbers. Facts are that we haven't received any OTA (or non-OTA update) for Sync for any GT models. The only OTA pushed to the GT line was the BC map update. As @benk016 said, charge curve updates (discussed here) for the GT models are not OTA and have nothing to do with Sync.

For some reason there's this fascination with FP and Sync update version numbers. I don't even think that 176 is correlative to a power-up number as it's just a revision number. If you want to make sure that your car is up-to-date then the only best solution would be to get FDRS and do it yourself or ask those of us who run checks to run a check for you.

Just to provide some backup info: my 2022 GT was delivered with the later/faster charge curve (~42kW after hitting 80% when DCFCing), and I did receive the BC map update OTA last week.

And you got 91 kWh of battery instead of 88.
