Can you make changes (SR to LR) after Ford confirms your order?

After reading more about the batteries I think I would feel better with the LR battery over the SR. I've already placed my order (have a signed buyer's order from the dealer) and it's been confirmed by Ford. My order was just placed on 2/19. Can I change from SR to LR without losing my spot in the queue?

As long as the VIN hasn't been assigned, your dealer SHOULD be able to make the change.

My dealer said changes are possible until a build date (and VIN) are assigned.
