CarPlay disconnects in the same place all the time!

As part of my commute, I have to pass by the Seattle downtown library daily. Every time I drive by, my CarPlay actually gives me static like a bad radio signal then disconnects/connects/disconnects/connects etc.

Probably something in the area but any ideas what could cause this?

We have something similar. In one particular half-block, invariably the vehicle's bluetooth/wifi Android Auto and Apple Carplay connection fails. And it doesn't matter if it's in the Tacoma or the Mustang. There's some kind of overpowering signal in that area that blocks the signal from our phone to the headset.

CarPlay is 2.4ghtz wifi. Massive amount of interference or super high powered radios in that area.

There is one point on my commute where CarPlay stutters - and it appears to be something like a radar gun disrupting the wi-fi signal

I know of two places in Redmond that have issues for some people. One near Marymoor on West Lake Samm - I think that was from interference, maybe a cell tower, and was fixed - and the other is on 520 under one of the new pedestrian bridges.

This is a wireless CarPlay issue. Apple has been provided extensive logs and agrees it is an Apple issue. They will not commit to addressing it.
