Is it okay to get new tires and rims put on my MachE at a tire dealership and not at my local Ford dealership.?
I just don’t want any problems ?

Perfectly fine. Just make sure the tires you are buying have a load rating at least equal to the load rating on your OEM tires. 😊🐩

You may want to point out to them the area they have to put the pucks to lift the car, because if they get lazy/not paying attention and lift it by the battery area that's bad news. It's the only thing I would be overly paranoid about.

Here is the diagram of the jack points if you don't have it.

Yes. Use the jack points though.

My Ford dealer quoted me 4-5 weeks on a tire replacement but Discount Tire came through in less than 4-5 days and were cheaper. Ford dealer even told me to go elsewhere for the tire!

Mach-E tires have a high load index and are not overly common at tire shops.

We purchased our winter tires at Kal Tire and had them put on rims that we supplied. No issues even though they had never seen a Mach E. We gave them the information on where to lift the car. Much less expensive than purchasing a winter package through Ford.

Have you never had tire work done on your car before? Go make friends with some tire guys. Or buy from tire rack and swap them yourself; hell tirerack now has mobile installers in some areas. I had them put my snows on on my OEM 18s last year.

The MachE is no different than anything else from the last 70 years.
Just heavier and a ton of torque on the lugs (150 ft/lbs).

Anyone use mobile tire repair from tire rack? Had my new Conti’s installed at dealer Sen really dont want to go back to repair a nail in tire. Hoping to just order replacement from tire rack and then have it installed at home but not sure if they know the Mach e enough.

The tech who did my tire swap was great. I’m sure your mileage may vary depending on region.

I would think that a place like Discount Tire would do a great job.
