Recently purchased a 2021 Mach E and I am wondering how to remove a tire. I have found nothing in the manual and there appears to be no gear like a tire wrench or a jack. Am I missing something here?

Not missing anything. The car does not come with a jack or wrench.

You have to be very careful with the jack points to not lift on the battery rail. See these threads:

I suggest getting a Better Spare spare wheel and jack. Especially if you will travel a bit. These EVs are much much heavier cars than our gas gars of yore... I crunched an old jack in half, and 20 minutes later I crunched my neighbor's Crown Victoria jack while playing around last Summer in the driveway. The Better Spare wheel and jack are appropriately sized for EVs.
