Is there a setting that allows me to program the car to charge to 80% by 6am? Is it smart enough to do the math and calculate how long it needs to charge to reach set goal and to allow charging to start at a required time?
eg. My car charges at 16kw/h. It takes about 3 hours to charge my normal daily usage. If i plug the car in at 5pm, but I dont need it until 6AM, will it know to start charging around 2/3AM to be ready by 6AM?

It doesn’t calculate backwards (from the finish time back) like that. You can, however set it to not start charging until a specific time. So, you could set it to not charge until 1:00am when you’re at home.

Yeah, it works opposite from my Bolt where you could do exactly what you are looking for. The MME simply starts charging as soon as your schedule window allows.

Yeah you would think that it should work that way given that is exactly how the Focus Electric used to charge. Program a charge window and it would calculate when to start charging so that it would be full at the end of the window (no charge to value on the FFE, just 100%).

I believe your departure time will override the charging schedule. So if you set a departure time of 6am and a charging window to start at 5am, but it needs to start charging at 3am to reach your set charge percentage, it will start charging at 3am. I haven’t really played with this scenario, so I’m sure others will correct me if I’m wrong.
