Charging Issue???

I just had my electrician install my Ford Connected Charger and set my charger to go from 12:00am to 6:am. The first night it went up to my 80% limit but says it took 38KWH. The second time I used it, it added 41 miles and used 17 KWH. I checked my coned account and it went through the roof at those times.

That can't possibly be correct....right???

There are losses. some have reported 10% or more.
It‘s hard to say more, since “through the roof” is not quantifiable.

well, 41/17 comes to 2.41 Miles per Kw. Sounds about right....

Sorry, should have been more specific. My average usage is between .20 and .25 hr. When I plug in the charger, it goes up to 2.9 and that's the increase that had my interest piqued.

You're really not posting enough information to understand what's going on. Up to 2.9 what? What brand/model charger do you have? How much do you drive everyday? What battery % are you starting from that you're charging to 80%?
