Thanks everyone for this thread! We are new owners of a September 2023 build, and it appears our car has this bug. The car is set to charge from 12-6AM. The charge port indicator continues lit after the set charge level is met, and the EVSE (Juicebox) status light indicates charging, but the battery does not continue to increase charge level. I don't hear any unusual noises, but it is in the mid-50's in the garage and I am charging at low Amps.

The workaround I just did is to set the Juicebox to only charge from midnight-6AM. After 6 AM the charge indicator goes off. I hope an update is sent out soon for this. The car software does not appear to have had any updates that I can tell.

Amazing! So happy for you. You've both waited much longer than me and I'm so glad to hear there is a fix out there. Hopefully everyone gets access soon. Thanks for sharing!
Humming and blue light on during charging is normal. The update eliminated the hum (some type of pump I"m guessing) and also blue light staying on after charge threshold reached.

That's very helpful to post as I knew it involved updating a number of modules. The tech this morning did mention about an SSM coming out soon. I'd have preferred it to be OTA, but this worked out just as well.
Do SSMs eventually become over the air updates or no because only a small number of vehicles are affected? Wondering if I should hold out for a OTA update or visit a dealership in a couple of months to get my charging issue resolved?

Tech told me that an SSM would be issued at some point. If you note post #197 from Frank here tells what modules to update, you could carry that to the service dept. And they can call the FSE with questions. At some point this will be made available OTA, I'm told, but as to how long that takes, who can say. I'm proactive so I wanted it sorted.

So far this seems to be an issue with a number of 23s. Mine was an august build. You can wait until an OTA eventually comes out, hopefully, or contact service dept. Take a copy of post 197 above which Frank posted saying what modules to update. If the tech guy has any questions he can call FSE. You could wait a month or so as the Tech told me an SSM would be issued for this.

Our new 2023 Premium AWD ER has this bug as well. Any word on when the OTA update will be pushed out? For now, I’ve just unplugged the car once it hits my desired 90% charge level.

Hard to say, it could be next week or six months or ? I opted to go to the dealer and get it sorted. was in/out in 90 minutes and it's been perfect since.

no word on the ETA, but post 197 details the fix for the dealers.

I've been dodging bugs with my April 23 build. This bug is for May-Nov 23 builds. I'm sure I've jinxed myself now.

Since I got mine fixed I've been having issues where it won't precondition. Sometimes I get an error and sometimes not, but the charging ring will be amber indicating a problem and the preconditioning will not start. Is anybody else having this issue too?
