I have a 2023 Mach-E Premium AWD (built 11/23) standard range, bought new this past June '24. It now has only 2,000 miles and has been kept garaged when not in use in South Florida. It has only been charged at 110 volts from a garage outlet, and up to 100% only twice; I did it the first time in mid-September, but didn't pay much attention to the process. The other day, I charged it in my garage again (at 110 volts) to "100%" but was more attentive.
Attached are photos off the FordPass App showing progress of the charging from when it first showed 99% to 100%, and then the reduction of the charge to 99% with the loss of 10 miles (showing on the dashboard) when I pulled out of my garage and before I got to the end of my block (500 feet)!
I don't really mind that the Ford App's guesstimated time to reach 100top left corner) consistently is off (including extending the estimated time to reach "100%" long after it already reached 100% and was not adding miles. But I'd be interested to know what the explanation may be; like pouring a 12 oz. beer into an 8 oz. glass?
Still haven't gotten my free adapter, but did get that notice that it won't be in October anymore (expected "November').
Apart from some likely unnecessary "range anxiety," I'm really enjoying the size and performance in "Whisper" mode mostly; "Engage" only occasionally, and I have yet to even try "Unbridle,"

BMS uncertainly, basically it's very difficult to tell exactly how full the beer glass is while you're filling it.

When it decides to stop charging at 100% is arbitrary. It stops when the acceptance rate is low enough or it's been holding top voltage for enough minutes. If you restart charging at 100% I've seen it take a couple additional kWhs at times.

Charging at 110V is not efficient.
There are always variables when you charge (amps, temperature, battery state....etc)
All these will impact your "results"....and results will vary.

Mix in the GOM for range, (more variables - driving history, temperature, inclines, hwy vs city...etc) and there you have it.
You won't get exact results every time you charge (too many variables).
Range will always move around (too many variables)
