The last few times I've driven my 2023 GT, I got a message on the center stack that said "charging". I think this is pretty weird, even for Ford, to get such a message WHILE driving. I mean one would have to have a pretty long charging cord. But actually we all know you cannot drive the car while it is plugged in. I tried to post a pic of the display, but my pic gets chopped up into a bunch of different pieces on this blog.

Anyone else have this charging while driving issue?

Congratulations, I think this might be the first genuinely new bug on this forum in years.

I have neither had this issue or have any idea why it would be popping up.

I've not experienced this charge message while driving. But I have experienced, as have many others, the 'collage' effect when trying to post a photo, it gets chopped up into smaller squares. My workaround for this is to take a screenshot of the photo and upload the screenshot version.

Has anyone figured out why this 'chopped up photo' phenomenon happens?

Don’t “upload” it, that is the same as uploading your other image. Instead just do paste into the comment box.

What is happening is that most people don’t realize that formats like JPG and PNG allow for many different kinds of encoding of the image. And the “reading software” might not understand that format and this can result in exactly what is happening in this case. Other things I have seen is that the orientation can be read wrong, so you get a sideways image, or maybe even upside down.

Note it should be possible to save you images in a more compatible format. Apple devices are pretty notorious for deciding on using “cutting edge image“ formats and ignoring the fact it isn’t very commonly supported in rest of the world.
