If they actually follow the instructions, the BlueCruise 21G01 has the following

The 22-2117 covers recovering from the TCU/APIM unable to update.
The 21P22 is the charge curve and other updates.

21G01 Instructions

12. Select TCU - Telematics Control Unit (TCU) - software update.
• Run application.
• If error message on SYNC display screen or no activity after 10 minutes.
• See TSB 22-2117 - Module Recovery.
• Retry TCU software update with same USB drive.
13. Select APIM - Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM/SYNC) - software update.
• Run application.
• Follow General Service Bulletin (GSB) 21-7088 - SYNC Programming, USB flash drive method.
• If error message on SYNC display screen or no activity after 10 minutes.
• See TSB 22-2117 - Module Recovery.
• Retry APIM software update with same USB drive.

I am not trying to be a D*** but fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me, they have been fooling you for months, they are laughing at you every day for buying the same lie over and over and over again, at this point, I would take the car out and find another dealer, you can't force them to do anything, you are helpless, you are just wasting your own time.

I've been following your story, can you tell me what they actually did during those months? almost nothing!
Time for reality shock, either lemon law this car or move on to the next dealer.

I just picked up the car.
Will do a full review tomorrow to see what was all accomplished and to ensure the front ‘half-shaft’ work was completed fully.

Good luck James, I say move away from that dealership! it's not worth your time, hopefully, you can find someone else good nearby.

This was both agonizing and wonderful to read the entire thread. What amazing help from this Forum Member, absolutely incredible.
As for the dealership, I would write a non-emotional review on Google and Yelp as well as Dealer rater,. Cargurus, true car, and just cut and paste the first one to the others.

I wish I would have read the thread earlier as I would have run a Market Place add for boat towing, trailer moving, equipment hauling etc;, with that F250 loaner.
(Not that you had time I'm sure). I would ay the very least be trail driving with my kids on every one we could find.

That is absolutely disappointing. It's as if Will Smith kept walking back up on that Oscar stage and repeatedly smacked Chris Rock, for the remainder of the Oscars! I mean maybe even following him home and slapping him there as well.

Unfortunately, there is no one version number for these cars because there are dozens of modules each with their own software versions. I can tell you that these are the modules in your car that still have updates available:

But the real question is, you have Tetris?

Hokey-smokes! 21Job2 car FDRS updated last month… I still only have notes. Not that I care about games on the center screen. ??

My vehicle was just in for service for almost a week.It does finally have a Sync version again and I can toggle OTA updates… but still no signs of actual updates like apps, full screen carplay, etc
