I was told by my dealer that Ford is no longer offering 250KWh of free charging at EA for 2022 models. Anyone else hear anything about this?
Per FordPass q&a:

Of course no one got anything off anything by using the points, they use points for $0.005 of value per point. Points, while "freely acquired", still have a cash equivalent.

I used all my points (had a small amount accumulated also prior to buying) to buy the full mat set for the cancelled order I bought, and paid the balance, which of course got me more points. I plan on using that point balance, albeit small, for the my ordered car, and then buy the one accessory I'll want with the points from that. Points come so quickly that my GM let me buy the parts without paying, wait for the points to hit, and then settle up.

These points expire after 365 days of inactivity, activity defined as earning, redeeming, or fulfilling a reward earned.

Thanks for the replies, guys. It seems that my sales person was misinformed. He spoke with other team members and told me what you guys stated- it'll be in my FordPass app.

Wait, a misinformed salesperson?
This is the same person who keeps telling me that I need to pay what is on sticker (I ordered before Dec 8th price increase). I've asked him to check with his higherups on what the price protection process is.

You already have a 2022?! Jealous!
I don't think that this is possible. 2022s weren't made until the week of 1/3, and none have been delivered to my knowledge.

>>> 250KW at EA.

I picked up my MachE 2 weeks ago.
The free charging at EA, does it automatically work with FordPass?
I have been charging only at home so curious about the process on using free KW charging at public chargers...
What do I need to do to claim the free charging?

Thanks,
Robert

It ONLY works with FordPass. You need to activate FordPass (see the sticky), and then the 250 hours will automatically be depleted each time you charge. https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/how-to-enable-plug-charge-in-7-steps.3094/

I keep being told it isn't happening. On the blue oval forum there was a line of vehicles where they said it only covered those invoiced before the end of December. To my knowledge, there weren't any MME invoiced in December. So if that held true across the models, I would get bupkiss for mine.

You need to activate properly using the steps here: https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/how-to-enable-plug-charge-in-7-steps.3094/

And then the free kwh is only good at electrify america chargers.

I recommend also starting here to get up to speed on charging and other newbie topics
