Everyone gets 250kWh. Some that got delays during 2021 (of course shorter than many of us), got an additional 250kWh for a total of 500kWh.

Not sure what you're saying no to. That's exactly what I said replying to a question about the extra 250.

Mine was a lot purchase and I got the extra 250, so take that as you wish. No wait for me. My point is that I'm not aware if that program is still in place. If it's done then it's correct that you wouldn't get that 250 on top of the other 250.

Doesn't matter who bought it, If that car got delayed the extra 250kwh was tied to the VIN and whoever bought it gets it.

My First Edition that was someone else's order had gotten flagged with the extra as well, and I got it when I activated it.

I believe the Idea is that the points are supposed to cover your first two maintenance visits on an ICE car. Maintenance costs less for an EV, so you get less points.

Correct. It was given to buyers that had extended unplanned chip delays. I only got 250 kWh in August 2021.

Feel like points should be tied to the value of the car. Doesn't make sense that someone can buy a $20k Ecosport and get more than twice the points someone would get for dropping $45-50k on an MME

Pretty sure everyone here would agree. Guessing an accountant somewhere figured that extra hundred bucks credit isn't going to lead to more spending on service or parts at the dealership for a Mach-E owner.

Or, there is nothing good a dealer can sell you for points. I bought a Service Plan after buying the MME and the dealer wouldn’t take the 33,000 points.

If the dealers had some imagination, they’d partner with someone that applies wraps and ceramic coating.

The dealer can use points on the plan if they want.

You can use points to pay for it if you buy it online at some of those dealers that sell it online at least.

Yes! Just check the Ford Pass Point box at checkout. 200 points = $1, so 42,000 points will give you a $210 credit. You do not earn points for purchasing a plan, and points are not refundable once redeemed.

I guess the dealer wasn’t truthful. I’ll use the points when I do 10k service.

You can have mine. Closest EA charger is nowhere near here, and I don’t road trip in this car. Went to a 50kw fast charger to finally try it out the other day and it was broken. So back to only home charging for me.

My dealer doesn't allow points to be used, or given, for body shop work. They also don't allow them for Parts online purchases, unless you negotiate that as part of your purchase deal (online their parts are much less expensive).

How did you get the extra 250? Was that an accommodation by your sales rep or GM?

I would be happy to give up my 250kW of charging for more points, but will probably never use those neither.

Do folks here have suggested things you can get with the points? Maybe some floor mats?

They were given by Ford corporate, back when they thought a delay to a small group of buyers made it a good thing to do. Then when more and more got delayed, they didn't add more people to that group...
