Just wanted to confirm the 150 Ft. Lbs MME Wheel Nut Torque called out in the owners manual. Just got it back from the 16k Kms initial service, and wanted to torque check. Seems like a high number to me. Thanks.

2015+ Mustang's and 2000+ F150's it's 150 ft/lbs. There might be other Ford's that have this spec but these are the only two models I've owned that have had them.

I retorqued to 150 Ft/Lbs. There was some movement. Torquing the locking nut was tricky. It felt like internal wrenching key was starting to yield at that torque.

Definitely be careful with the wheel locks. Make sure the key is 100% seated and you're applying a inward force on the back of the torque wrench to ensure it doesn't slip.

My father in law skipped the key's teeth a few time and it pretty much sheared/ruined the key.

Honestly the wheel locks aren't worth the hassle, didn't take me much time to smash on a 12 point socket to remove the wheel locks on his car to replace with regular lugs 😅

MachE has pickup truck weight, so you get pickup truck torque specs. Mach-E also has M14 lugs like the F150, whereas the smaller Escape gets M12 lugs.

My Maverick prior to the MME had M14 so the torque was 150 ft lbs.

2017-2019 Ford Fusion Sport with M14 lugs are 150 ft-lb as well (also has the sticker to add 3 psi tire pressure if going over 100 mph). Presumably the MKZ 3.0 AWD from 2017-2020 and perhaps Continental 3.0 AWD would be the same as they are the sister cars to the Fusion.

Weird thing is that Tesla uses the same lugs and only specifies 175 N-m / 129 ft-lb. Same 21mm 6-point socket is used.
