A couple of questions:
1.) Does Ford use a FIFO methodology in scheduling production dates based on order dates?
2.) My order date was 3/24/22 for a Mach-E GT. Is it possible to link current production dates back to the original order dates to get an indication of when my particular car may be built?

Not really.
There hasn’t been a definitive explanation of how or what Ford uses to select orders to be scheduled, but plenty or reasonable speculation:
  • Supply chain/parts availability -
    • Out of ER batteries, schedule SR builds
    • Only have Premium EAWD motors, only schedule those
  • Group build dates by paint color to make the paint shop more efficient
  • Missing GT interior bits, only build non-GT’s.
  • GT/GTPE’s are more profitable, prioritize them.
  • Larger volume dealerships get orders built faster
  • Etc.
