Fastest Order to Production date???

I ordered a Select with no options. Not even comfort package.

Ordered 2/6/22.

Received the magic email today that I am on 5/9/22 production week. Thats 12 weeks to production.

Is it because not many order the base select without options? Is the base select fastest to get from order date to production? Don't get me wrong, I am uber happy that it is the case for me, just want to see if others had the same experience for selects.

Ordered a GTPE on 2/3, production is scheduled for the week of 4/18.

How about the slowest? Ordered 4/23/21 don’t have a build date.

Go in your order. I suspect its in production. Thats what happened to me as well.

Ordered 4X on 5/21/21, received email 6/24/21 that build week was scheduled for 8/21, build finished 8/30, on chip hold until 9/27, modules installed 9/28 and car shipped 9/30. Arrived at dealer on 10/28/21.

This is definitely a popular discussion topic on this forum, and it's also a bit sensitive/sore subject for many especially those who ordered Premiums. But the summary is Selects and GT's have been getting priority over Premiums and CaRt1s, either due to parts, profit margins or a mix of both. Your state and dealer (big vs small) also matters tremendously in how quick you get scheduled. It's very possible for Selects and GT's to beat the order estimates provided by Ford's website. I ordered a Select with the Comfort/Tech package in mid-January and was built today, expecting delivery in early May. Barring further delays, it will have been 16-17 weeks from order to delivery. I've seen GT's that are on pace for an even quicker turnaround.

I ordered a CR1 around October 8. It was originally scheduled just three weeks later for production in early December. After a delay, I t was actually begun on January 12. Hoping for delivery next week.
