Are there any guides for removing the dash trim pieces, I want to short term wrap the fake nest carbon fiber whatever with black woodgrain and long term carve a real wood replacement

I believe you are talking about removing these panels (first two photos)? If so, you need a trim removal tool and they unclip.

However, the main trim panel is behind the center screen which needs to also be removed (last three photos).

Are there any more applicable pictures, or a link to the guide by chance?

Sorry for more posts, but thanks for the info, I think I am going to pop off the little side one and wrap it and see how it looks

That is from the Ford Mach-E repair manual and no other photos except those.

Should I disconnect the 12 volt battery before doing this? How about the high voltage battery?

Also do you have any pictures showing how to take off the piece above the vent covers? I'm assuming that one's also just clipped in? I need to remove the vent cover because one of my vent direction pieces broke

You do not need to remove the 12V battery connections. There are a total of 22 clips and 4 push in fasteners on that upper instrument panel/speaker grill. It is not difficult to remove.

Just leaving this as a thank you. This helped me replacing this panel as I stupidly damaged mine....

just noticed the little blue pieces of tape around the fasteners above.... they aren't around my center speaker grille when i removed it to replace the center speaker. i had an annoying rattle and putting some cotton tape over the fasteners helped quiet them down (kept them for shifting/sliding side to side i think). wondering if my fastners were just a bit too small for the plastic end on the grille they attached too due to manufacturing variance, or the lack of this blue tape...

my 21 job1 premium was rattle free and i've been disappointed with rattles here and there on my 23 gt pe. not sure if it was diversification of parts sourcing or cost/time cutting in assembly...or just bad luck.

That blue Teflon tape around the fasteners prevents squeaks around the fasteners. Not all panels have it or need it. I’ve never seen it around the center speaker grill cover on any year. I have seen it on the dash grill on every year I’ve taken apart.

Thank you, THANK YOU FOR THIS, @markboris ! I was terrified about breaking something when I had to replace the right side vent assembly, but with your helpful instructions and diagrams, I was able to do it!
