Run a trickle charger cable out the front. Hook up when needed or when car sits at nigjt

Do you just let it dangle there against your headlight when driving?
You can tuck it upward more under the hood. A long nose plier can pull it out. It is true the hvb and dcto dc inverter will charge the 12v battery. However, I drove 65 miles back from from the dealer with low milage 2021 Certified Premium and got a low 12V battery message on my Ford Pass. This 12v trickle charger floats on and off monitoring and saves some wear and tear on the charging port.

There is another thread where a guy demonstrated that 8x AA batteries in series will be enough to pop the hood when your 12V is dead. So, if your 12V charger is in the frunk you could get to it that way.

I have had really dead 12V's to begin with in this car and what I found is it can be really dead and the door still pops but does it like it is really tired and weak. I keep mine in the frunk. Door and 2 pulls. If that does not work you need a jump to pop the frunk to get to it.

With the LVB completely dead or disconnected, the door will open lethargically like you said but only for a time or two until the capacitor that’s holding the charge for the door button discharges.

I think you may be right. Only needs to do it once then I am in. I left it open the first time waiting for a tow (brand new and no idea). Dealer tried to tell me that is why the 12V was dead I left the door open. Right and I was born yesterday. Left it open because it did not feel like it was going to do it again. I have cover holes drilled now to charge it and it became I did not need the tow after the first time.

Does this work if the doors were locked prior to the low voltage system falling too low?

I was thinking the body control module (BCM) normally plays a role in determining if doors may unlock. Maybe the driver door pin pad can unlock the driver door on its own when the BCM isn't functional?

Don’t know and I’m out of town to try on my car. My doors are always unlocked when I open them (with the battery disconnected)

The phone and the door button worked here a few different times. Think it was locked, should have been? Just labors a bit. The door opened but the car would not boot. You can tell when you should not close the door and try to open it again. Last time in.
