I suggest you pay to get the problem fixed, and then have your lawyer sue the selling dealer that misrepresented that the repairs were completed.
This. You don't even need a lawyer. Go to the county website where your original dealer is located in and look up "file civil suit" and they should have self filing instructions. I think it's less than $30 to file if you do all the paperwork yourself and bring it to the court. Once the dealership is served , they'll suddenly become very cooperative. Anything is cheaper to fix when legal fees are the other option.

Looks doable from the hardware perspective but I'd guess there's some work to be done in FDRS after the replacement.
I could be wrong, but I think running a PMI procedure on the module will configure it for the VIN it is being installed in.

I would think as long as it wasn't a previously locked APIM, then swapping between vehicles using the same part number would likely work fine.

Jesse Infotainment would probably know for sure what the requirements are.

I think you can get an esp up to 41 months, if your at 38 now might be a decent option
