Thanks for the advice! I really do need to see the car in person once it arrives. This is one of the many frustrations with the current situation is that I can't see the actual car with the actual color to see if I like it or not. Dealer sent me a picture of an Edge in a similar color and I've googled pictures but nothing replaces real life. I've never wrapped a car before... What's a price range I should expect for a good job?
I think the F-150 also comes in Iced Blue Silver, probably a better chance of finding one of those to see the color in person. Like VegStang said, a wrap will be very expensive, but it would give you an opportunity to make it a unique color if you chose to do so.
If they messed up my order and said it was puce green with pomegranate speckles, I'd still take the car after waiting this long :)

They say everything happens for a reason (personally I don't believe that) but in your case, it may be true. It's a keeper.

Decent wraps start around $3K in my neck of the woods. Northern NY. Other places will cost more due to economic pressures.

You could order a new one today and might get it before some of us that ordered last August…

Maybe check a few dealerships to see if they have an Edge or F150 in stock in that color so you can see it in person.

I was very excited to place my order for my '22 Mach-E Route 1 edition this past November. I talked to my local dealer about the paint choices and I was under the impression that the Iced Blue Silver Metallic that I ordered was the silvery blue color I had ran across when I saw a Mach-E in the wild. Unfortunately I was wrong and I figured it relatively quickly and contacted the dealer to change the color to a Dark Matter Grey. I received confirmation that it was changed and didn't think much about it until just recently I received my build date! Problem is, the blue still shows up online. Called the dealer, they recognized it was their fault but told me that my only option was to cancel my order! Frustrated doesn't even begin to explain my state of mind...

Does anyone have any advice for paths to get this fixed? I hate paying this much to customize this vehicle to my liking and have it not be to my liking.
The iced blue is awesome, I’ll take it off your hands if you don’t want it. It’s probably best to not be picky about colors in this tight market

This reminds me of last year after my Wife placed an order for a Carbonized Gray MME and it mysteriously got changed to Dark Matter Gray which we did NOT want! I think the IBSM is an awesome color and we would have probably gone with that if it was available last year!

As I was to know it, changes could be made to your vehicle until you get a VIN number. After you get a VIN, no changes. The only exception is the battery. That can’t be changed at any point and you would need to re-order.

In Feb ‘21, we changed from SR to ER 4 days after Initial order. It was a $5k change. I guess it was early enough.

Someone on the forum took photos of their ice blue from a few angles and it was really beautiful. I was between grabber blue and ice blue and ultimately chose the former. Granted, as you've said, color is a personal choice.

You can do some stunning things with wraps, from iridescent to matte options. I was originally thinking about a wrap, but didn't like the reports saying that they only last a few years before needing to be redone - websites I read said something around 5-6 years, possibly less if your car is often sitting in the sun or other poor weather. I'd want ten or more years. I'm sure the technology will get there eventually (if it's not there already - maybe the websites I was reading were outdated).
