Unfortunately if the people who are supposed to enforce don't care, then rules/laws won't be enforced. Lowest common denominator.Don't get me started on that issue.
They have the stickers, but they're "allegedly" no longer allowed to use them, according to corporate.
The sign behind the car says you'll get towed. You won't.
Nevada is a mess. The leases say that you have to have valid plates on a vehicle for it to be on the property. But here's the nightmare behind that. Nevada has a high annual property tax on vehicles. For example, the plate and registration cost for my MME was $916.
So all over Las Vegas, you'll see cars with no plates or expired plates. The cops basically do nothing about it, and probably figure you'll have to square with the DMV sooner or later.
I was reporting the no plate and expired plate vehicles also, because they may not have insurance either. But, I got shot down on those with the latest management.
At one point, one of the maintenance guys was driving a car with no plates on it.
