When they make an EV super duty truck that can tow a 16k 5th wheel and still get around 270 miles per charge doing it, I'll consider going full EV. For now, my Ram 2500 diesel will do.
It will be interesting to see if they can make an EV super duty work in the next 40 years. It takes a lot of energy to pull something like that (rough estimate: 30 gallons of diesel = 1,200 kW). Even if solid state batteries become economically viable, it's gonna take a while to charge even with a a 350kW charger speeds of today.
