Disable front camera washer?

Has anyone come up with a way to disable the front camera washer? I've never encountered a time when I want/need it, and I hate the blue/orange stains on the front bumper.

After 2.5 years of ownership I just put 2+2 together, that weird bird poop looking mark that always appears on my grille is from the camera washer....gotta remember to wipe that spot AFTER I use my washer fluid.

Maybe use a less concentrated fluid. Some brands put in way too much dye and other things that leave residue.

Mine never came properly equipped with it. Unfortunately not a clue

If your front camera washer is operational, you're in the minority. I'd even consider removing the module and selling it.

That said, I'm sure it's in the Forscan options.

I use cheap $$Store washer fluid, it's blue but I cut it 50/50 with water because it doesn't need to be that strong.

I don't see smurf poo on the front of my car after using.

Yes, it was one of several things Ford deleted after MY22. If you have a MY23 or later, it will not have that component. You also don't have the kick-to-open feature on the tailgate :-(. If you have a MY22 or MY21, you *should* have the washer, time to take it to Ford LOL. Good luck!

I've got a late '23 and knew about the kick-to-open (one of the few things the car doesn't have that I wish it did). I just checked and I see the door for the front washer, but I guess I don't know for certain there's a washer in there. From what you're saying, I guess maybe not. ?‍

I made it through winter in Iowa without missing it, so I guess I'm fine either way.

If you have it it's a little back square next to the front camera in the grille.

What makes me scratch my head is other car manufacturers have these features and they work great, but Ford takes them out because they are troublesome rather than reverse engineering the ones that work, changing the design slightly to avoid a lawsuit and make it work. I've had Audis and the trunk and headlight washers worked flawlessly.
