I can't believe they haven't fixed some of these things. Its pretty annoying.
1 ) Fordpass. I want to set my departure time and CHECK the box to have my car turn on WITHOUT being plugged in. Comon, The ford app doesn't do a lot. This should work by now. When I click it, it says ford pass isn't responding. I've seen others post about it. I have a iPhone 12 pro. Its not a unique phone or big ask to have work. I contacted fordpass and they called me a few times about it but after a while they gave up and stopped trying.
2 ) When I make a call, and I'm listening to Spotify sometimes when you hang up the call doesn't let go. It won't allow Spotify to play and keeps reverting to the radio. The only way to fix it is turn the car off and back on. I've tried repairing the device, turning on and off apple play... Nothing works.
3 ) I have my center dash set to dark mode. Once a week it wants to revert back to white. I have no idea why. It drives me crazy. I know this ones stupid but the software lags already booting up. I don't want to have to sit there for another few min just to change it back to dark mode.
4) Apple play once again. If you get out of the screen, sometimes when you go back into it will just show a play button with a loading screen. Doesn't matter how long you wait it just sits there. The ONLY way to fix it, is you have to go to phones, then click the apply play from this screen. The apple play icon on the main program screen will NOT work.
5) Iphone ringing volume. When I'm listening to music say at a level of 20, and my phone rings it blasts. So It won't allow you to turn down the volume of just the ringer without it effecting the music. This has worked in every car I've been in. Even before apple play. I always have to catch the phone before it rings and wakes up my kids.
It own, and work for a software company. These are issues that could be resolved very easy. They always come out with these other revisions I read that are irrelevant to the majority of people, and they say they fix bugs without even listing it. I can't be the only person with these issues that don't seem to ever get fixed. I've been hoping for just 1 to fix.
