Yes, Daily news

There's always a boatload of music available 24x7. But some find the talk shows less boring than that (thus why they often choose talk over music).AM is only for those long lonely night rides where you can listen to boring talk shows.......
Tune in radio has local stations.Yes. Sports, news, talk.
Seems like almost a sin to listen to tinny AM when you have a nice sound system, but I don't want to listen to music all the time.
Yes. But it takes a constant cell signal, and isn't as easy to flip to when jumping between channels.Tune in radio has local stations.
You are correct. The static on the Mach-e AM is stronger than on my wife's camaro. I got around the problem with listening using "Simple Radio". A key advantage is that it is supported as an Android Auto app. I have Android Auto on all the time and can select my favorite AM stations that I had saved on Simple Radio. You have to keep in mind that they are streaming the station about a minute behind the live station. For FM and SiriusXM, I prefer the live broadcast. You guys that do listen to AM could probably find a free app to stream the stations you listen to in much higher fidelity than the AM radio (and you could listen across the country as well).
Yep, listen to the post game show on the way home from UCLA football and basketball games.Just curious. Such a pain to implement in electric vehicles.
