Does the A2Z adapter work with Plug & Charge?

It is active, but there is a message at the top which says "We're still waiting for all of your charging networks to activate." The Electrify America icon has a check mark on it, but the Tesla icon says: "Certificate pending." It has said this for two weeks now, and the Ford chat line rep can't seem to figure out why. Hopefully someone here knows something that Ford does not.....

Your quick fix for this, download the Tesla app and use the Tesla app for few charges. That may fix or expedite the pending certificate.

Yes, but you will need to download the Tesla app and open and account with Tesla. Using the Tesla app is no big deal, really. I don't understand the emphasis on P&C, especially for long road trips, as the cost you will save using the Tesla app with a tesla membership are substantial.

But, in your case, once you get the adapter, just go to the nearest Tesla station that is compatible with Ford's and try it. The P&C may just work - who know, weirder things have happened with Ford and software.

I'm awaiting arrival of my A2Z adapter and want to be ready for it. How can I know if I have received a P&C update for my car or not?

You get a notice on your screen for every update the car gets. If you got one that said something about Tesla Superchargers, that is the one.

You can also check in the P&C section of your FordPass app to see if you see Electrify America and Tesla listed.

Open your FordPass app for the vehicle you going to use. For example, Mach E or Lightning. Select Vehicle option from the bottom of the screen, then Blue Oval Charge network. If it is Active you should see the Tesla and EA tiles with green checkmarks. Also activate the Share Option for other networks.
That should make it work.
If not….then use the Tesla or EA apps.

If you are an EA participant, you will receive surveys that indicate that Ford is asking members and customers their preferences to incorporate the Tesla membership and EA membership into the BOCN. They working on it. How smooth that transition will be, we all going to find out. Use your Tesla and EA memberships active for now.

If you are an EA participant, I've read here that if you receive such a survey you are not supposed to broadcast it on social media, or you can be removed from EA.

Make sure before you use the Tesla app that you have connected your credit card and verified your billing address.

First time I tried using the Tesla app, with credit card connected, the app requested address verifications.

I use the Tesla app exclusively even though I have P&C - to get the Tesla member discount rate.

Will see if that ever happens since the EA member rollout couple of years ago was a failure with Ford's end.
